Description

Professor Anngret Simms retired recently from the Department of Geography at UCD after some thirty seven years. This enormous and wide ranging collection honours her extraordinary achievements in Irish, Scottish and European academia, and in public life in Ireland. The book shall be essential for all those interested in Irish archaeology, medieval Irish history, geography and the history of settlement, cartography, placenames, archives and many other aspects of Ireland.
